Push Your Limits and Study Abroad
Leaving home to go away for college is a huge step. After spending 18 years with your family, it can be difficult to be more than a drive away and not have family there if something goes wrong. So why increase that distance and study in a different country?
Our world is becoming more and more globalized, day after day. In a world where traveling to other countries is becoming easier, why not take advantage of it? Why settle for pictures you see on the internet and information you read in books, when you can spend four months seeing those images in person and learning about different cultures in person?
Thanks to New York University and the Stern School of Business, I have been able to study abroad at NYU in London for four months, spend a week in Singapore for Stern's International Studies Program and four months at University of Melbourne through the International Business Exchange. If studying abroad wasn't as great as it was, I would not have studied abroad twice!
